The color monster doesn't understand what he's feeling. His emotions are all mixed up and now he has to sort out this mess. Can he put order into his joy, sadness, anger, fear and calm?
The book presents a concept very similar to Disney's hit "Inside Out". The main character is a monster who changes color depending on how he is feeling. He doesn't understand why he changes color and his friend, the girl, explains to him what it means to be sad, happy, scared, calm and angry.
